Hotel Renovation in the Heart of Capitol Riverfront, D.C.

We’re excited to share that renovations at the Residence Inn Washington Capitol Hill/Navy Yard are officially complete! This upscale property is located in the heart of the Capitol Riverfront—D.C.’s fastest-growing riverfront neighborhood and one of the largest redevelopment districts in the country.

Our Salisbury Moore crews worked diligently to bring this project to life, successfully navigating a mid-block hotel site with tight storage and limited lay-down space. A huge thank you to Malcolm, Ian, and Rick for their dedication and leadership throughout the renovation, as well as to the local subcontractors and property staff who supported every phase of the work.

Project Highlights include:

• Light-finish renovations to guestrooms and corridors, featuring VWC, lighting, softgoods, and headboards
• Full lobby renovation with an extensive millwork package
• Backlit metal feature wall, ceiling baffles, and new reception desks
• New storefront installation and millwork TV corner
• Moss wall in the dining area and a new hearth at the fireplace
